Birthplace: Brazil

PhD in Chemistry, with an emphasis on Analytical Chemistry, from the State University of Londrina (UEL), where she completed a 12-month internship at the São Paulo State University Júlio Mesquita Filho (UNESP), Araraquara campus. She holds a bachelor's and bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD) and a master's degree in Chemistry from the same institution. During her undergraduate studies, she was a member of the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID), participating in interdisciplinary teaching, research and extension projects, with an emphasis on scientific dissemination actions, such as the Show da Química project. During her master's degree, she was part of the CNPq research group, the Spectroanalytics, Sample Preparation and Chemometrics Group, focusing on the synthesis and application of magnetic carbonaceous nanomaterials as adsorbents for inorganic pre-concentration, using magnetic solid phase extraction. During his PhD, he was part of the Laboratory for the Development of Analytical Methods (LADEMA), where he dedicated himself to the synthesis and application of nanomaterials (MOFs, Ionically Imprinted and Magnetic Polymers, Magnetic Carbon) for the development and validation of analytical methods for the pre-concentration of toxic elements in environmental and food samples, using spectroanalytical techniques such as FAAS, GF AAS, TS-FF-AAS and HG AAS. During his exchange at UNESP, he delved into the development of electrochemical sensors for the detection and quantification of toxic elements, such as cadmium and diuron. Currently, she works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Nanobiomimetic Group research group at the Chemistry Institute of UNESP, Araraquara campus, focusing on the development of sensors modified with Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIP) for the selective detection of prostate cancer biomarkers, such as PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) and Sarcosine, using analytical techniques such as Fluorescence Spectrometry, HPLC, UV-Vis and ELISA, in addition to actively collaborating in the co-supervision of Scientific Initiation students in the development of analytical methods for the extraction of sugars, vitamin K2 and sulfonamides.
