Post-doctoral researcher at the São Carlos Physics Institute, University of São Paulo - USP, in the area of drug design for the treatment of neglected tropical diseases, using medicinal chemistry, artificial intelligence and natural product databases. Degree in chemistry (2007) from the Institute of Chemistry, Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP-Araraquara), a master's degree (2010) and a doctorate (2014) in chemistry with an emphasis on organic chemistry. In 2023 she was elected an affiliate member of the Academy of Sciences of the State of São Paulo-ACIESP. She has international collaborations with the Chemical Abstracts Service, American Chemical Society (CAS-ACS), Leipzig University of Applied Sciences and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She was coordinator of the Young Researchers committee of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ, 2021-2022) and secretary of the International Younger Chemists Network (IYCN) of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC, 2021-2023).
