Herlandí de Souza Andrade

Herlandí de Souza Andrade is Professor at the Engineering School of Lorena (EEL) at the University of São Paulo (USP). He is currently the President of the Undergraduate Committee of EEL and Advisor to the USP Innovation Agency. Also, he is the Financial Director of the Research and Teaching Support Foundation (FAPE). With regard to Research, he is Coordinator of the Research Group Management, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Innovation (GETI), working in areas related to Strategic Management of Entrepreneurial and Innovative Ecosystems, involving management of technology and innovation, intellectual Property Management, commercialization and transfer of technology management, management of technology transfer offices, entrepreneurship, organizational strategy, quality management, management of productive systems and good teaching and learning practices. In Undergraduate Teaching, he teaches the following courses: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Administration and Organization, Economic Engineering and Finance, Integrated Production Engineering Project for the Production Engineering Program at EEL, which he was coordinator until 10/2022. In Post-Graduation, he is accredited in Management and Innovation in the Animal Industry Program of the Faculty of Zootechnics and Food Engineering (FZEA-USP), teaching the course on Strategic Management applied to Agribusiness. With regard to University Extension, he is the coordinator of the Engineering and Business Program, which aims to support entrepreneurs in the creation and organizational management of the startup and in the development of the capacity of businesses to expand their impact in a sustainable manner, as well as, it aims to increase the university-company relationship, in a triple helix context. He holds a Post-Doctorate from Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), a Doctorate and a masters in science in the Postgraduate Program in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering - Production Area, from Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), an MBA in Business Management from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), Specialization in Methodology and Management for Distance Education, from Anhanguera University (AEDU), and graduation in Administration, Accounting and Informatics from University of Taubaté (UNITAU) and AEDU.
