Assistant Professor at the Astronomy Department of the Instituto de Astronomia, G. e C. Atmosféticas da Universidade de São Paulo (IAG-USP). He has PhD in Astronomy and BSc in Molecular Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo. He has postdoc experience at the IAG-USP (2013-2015) and at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY-Zeuthen, 2015-2018). His main research topic is Plasma Astrophysics, with emphasis on numerical simulations of magnetohydrodynamic flows with applications on the interstellar and extragalactic media.
