Master's in Chemistry at Universidade Federal da Bahia and P.H.D student in the University of Sao Paulo. During the master's project, focused in computational chemistry, worked with density functional theory based calculations to describe graphene quantum dots based properties. Moreover, the calculations were performed to explain experimental results obtained for graphene quantum dot based chemical sensors for the detection of trimethylamine. The student also has experience with topological analysis (non-covalent interactions and atoms in molecules), activation strain models and homogeneous catalysis. The student also has experience with experimental studies, which were performed during the master's project. Currently, the student is studying electroxidation reactions of the methanol and ethanol on metal clusters, using microkinetic models. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
