Larissa Placca Amurim

Masters student in the Graduate Program in Communication at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" UNESP, working in Research Line 3: Management and Policies of Information and Media Communication, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Caroline Kraus Luvizotto. Member of the Research Group Media Communication and Social Movements (ComMov), contributing to the research line on Organizational Communication and Public Mobilization. Holds two MBAs: one in Corporate Communication Management and Planning (Universidade Castelo Branco) and another in Branding Brand Management (ESPM). Holds a Bachelors degree in Journalism from São Paulo State University UNESP. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in an academic exchange program at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina, with an AUGM scholarship, where she produced journalistic content in Spanish. She also took part in the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program, living in Mexico for one year. Currently, she is a technical scholarship holder at the Smart B100 Advanced Research Center CCD-SB100 (Science Center for Development), funded by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation) and supported by the São Paulo State Department of Agriculture and Supply, where she works in the Integrated Communication and Public Mobilization Unit. She has solid experience in Institutional Communication. With six years of professional experience, her career includes work in companies of various sizes from small businesses to multinationals which has provided her with a broad and sensitive perspective on diverse organizational contexts. Since the age of 13, she has been dedicated to writing as a tool for social transformation and is the author of three books, having published her first during adolescence. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
