Elizabete Alexandre dos Santos

Dietitian. Master's and PhD in Sciences with an emphasis in Public Health Nutrition from the School of Public Health at the University of São Paulo (USP), with a sandwich doctorate funded by the Print/CAPES Program at the University of Coimbra (UCoimbra). Holds a degree in Nutrition from Centro Universitário São Camilo (2009); Professional Training in Hospital Nutrition from the Emilio Ribas Institute of Infectology (2011); and a Specialization in Applied Human Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy from FAMESP - Insira Educacional (2014). Currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Nutrition at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). Former volunteer nutritionist at the Childhood Obesity League of the Hospital das Clínicas (LOI HCFMUSP). Founder and coordinator of the volunteer project Nutrine Kids, whose mission is to combat childhood obesity through food and nutrition education initiatives in public schools in São Paulo. Associate Researcher at the Research Centre for Anthropology and Health (CIAS) at the University of Coimbra.
