As an undergraduate, developed research in the fields of statistics, agriculture microbiology and phytopatology. Completed an internship in an agricultural company, focusing on bioproducts, working on the bioprospection of microorganisms with biotechnological potential. Currently, pursuing a master's degree in Plant Production and Associated Bioprocesses at the Federal University of São Carlos, with a project in the area of biological control of citrus bacterial diseases, which is being carried out with the Agronomic Institute of Campinas, Sylvio Moreira Citrus Center. Currently, among the main citrus diseases occurring in the State of São Paulo, Huanglongbing (HLB), caused by the bacterium Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas), is the most problematic for citrus cultivation.
