She holds a degree in Biotechnology Engineering from the Universidad Católica de Santa María (UCSM), Peru, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Badhin Gómez Valdez. She worked as a researcher at the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM), Peru, as part of the project 077-2018-FONDECYT-BM (20182021). She earned a Master of Science degree, with an emphasis in Chemistry, from FFCLRP University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil (20212023), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Delia Rita Tapia Blácido. She was a member of the research team at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), Peru, as part of project PE501083694-2023. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate in Chemistry at FFCLRP-USP, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Delia Rita Tapia Blácido and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Taisa Magnani Dinamarco. She serves as a peer reviewer for the journals Food Bioscience and Journal of Biological Regulators and Homeostatic Agents. She has experience in microbiology, polymers, biodegradable packaging, functional foods, food technology, applied statistics, and cellulose nanofibers. Her main research line focuses on the development of biodegradable packaging from agro-industrial residues, using cellulose nanofibers as reinforcement material.
