Bachelor degree in Control and Automation Engineering at Itajubá Federal University (MG-Brazil) in 2003, Masters degree (2007) and PhD (2011) in Mechanical Engineering (Automation) at the University of São Paulo at São Carlos (SP-Brazil). He was a visitant researcher (2010 and 2014) in the University of Michigan (EUA). Professor and Researcher of the Control and Automation Engineering at the UNESP - São Paulo State University since 2011. Associate Professor at the UNESP since 2018. Member of the SBA (Brazilian Society of Automatic). He has been participating of several research, extension and technological projects funded by governamental agencies and industries, with more than 100 papers published in journals, magazines and conferences besides patents and product developments. He has experience in Control, Automation and Industrial Informatics mainly on the following subjects: Mechatronics, Manufacturing automation, Industrial networks and fieldbus, Networked control systems (NCS), Application of wireless networks and telemetry, Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, Embedded systems and Agricultural automation.
