Anthropologist, professor, and associate professor (PPG in Social Sciences/ Department of Social Sciences/ PUCSP). She graduated in Political and Social Sciences (São Paulo School of Sociology and Politics Foundation, 1973) and earned a master's degree (1983), doctorate (1995), and associate professorship (2006) from PUCSP. She supervises monographs, dissertations, and theses. She is a researcher in the areas of anthropology/sociology of culture/communication: images, metropolises, and youth cultures; young people/youths; cultural, political, and communication actions; public policies by/for youth; media production/reception; books/reading/publishers/publishing market. She participates in and coordinates research and research groups: a) GP Images, metropolises, and youth cultures (Leader: Research Groups Directory/ CNPq), since 2006; b) GT Youth and Children (CLACSO-Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales, 2019-2022): researcher since 2008 and coordinator between 2011-2013 and 2013-2016; c) Research Project: Latin American youth in migration: rights and political and cultural practices of resistance and re-existence (CLACSO-Argentina/CINDE-Universidad Manizales.Colombia/PUCSP. Brazil), co-coordinator, since 2023. Co-coordinates the Postdoctoral Program for Research in Social Sciences, Niñez and Youth (CLACSO; FLACSO-Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales; CINDE-Universidad de Manizales-Colombia; Universidad de Lanus-Argentina; El Colegio de la Frontera-COLEF-México; Universidad Luis Amigó-Colombia) and is a member of the Scientific Committee of RedINJU-Red de Posgrados en Infancia y Juventud, as well as the Coordination committees and Evaluation of the International School of Postgraduate Program/Childhood and Youth in Latin America (RedINJU). Responsible for international cooperation agreements between PUCSP and member institutions of the Postdoctoral Program and RedINJU.
