Doctor in Sciences by IBCCF, UFRJ (2021), with sandwich period at Universität Hohenheim (Germany), Masarykova univerzita (Czech Republic) and Università di Siena (Italy) (20172018). Master in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) by IBCCF, UFRJ (2016). Biotechnologist, by UEZO (2014), with internship at the Superior Council for Scientific Investigations (CSIC-Madrid, Spain, 2013). Since 2011, developing research related to Environmental Contamination, Ecotoxicology, and Environmental Dynamics of trace elements and organohalogen contaminants, mainly persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and pesticides. Currently works as Research Associate (post-doc) at the Material Cycles Division, National Institute for Environmental Studies, Japan (NIES-Japan, 2022), conducting research on the life cycle of hazardous chemicals in consumer goods. Having served as a Research Collaborator for NIES-Japan since 2021, via collaboration contract.Since 2018, acts as an expert consultant on international treaties related to POPs control. Experienced in research project design and development of guides and reports; analytical chemistry; method development and optimization for determination of organohalogen compounds; Gas Chromatography coupled with Mass Spectrometry and Electron Capture (GC-MS and GC-DCE); environmental chemistry; national and international legislation and international treaties on (POPs); Atmospheric transport of semi-volatile contaminants; human exposure and risk assessments.
