Mario Tommaso Pugliese Filho

Professor of Brazilian Literature at the Department of Classical and Vernacular Letters of the University of São Paulo USP. Works in different research, teaching and extention projects related to literature and other cultural and artistic manifestations (theater, Brazilian music and audiovisual). Has a degree in Letters, with emphasis on Literature (Bachelors and Degree in Portuguese and English Letters with Masters and Doctorate in Brazilian Literature), Audiovisual (Specialization) and Theater (Technical and Specialization). He idealized and implemented the scholarly journal Opiniães: revista dos alunos de Literatura Brasileira (FFLCH/USP). He also coordinates the extension project Literary Film Club (FFLCH-USP) and the research project on History and Literary criticism in Brazil: a study of the history of the idea of nation in articulation with the different critical currents. He was a founding member and coordinator of the Associação Escola Fórum das Artes, focusing on cultural management and training of art-educators and cultural managers.
