Abstract
Cardiolipin (CL) is an anionic phospholipid present in the inner mitochondrial membrane, responsible for several structural and bioenergetic functions of this organelle.Because it is recognized by CD1-restricted T lymphocytes, CL is capable of inducing strongand rapid immune responses, presenting high potential for immunotherapeutic applicationswhen associated with an appropriate carrier.…
