Biologist graduated from the Federal University of Paraíba, holding a master's and a doctoral degree in Sciences, with a focus on General Physiology, from the University of São Paulo. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher (FAPESP-BEPE) at São Paulo State University, with international collaboration at Pennsylvania State University, in the USA. She works on multidisciplinary projects involving education, research, and student mentorship. Her research integrates the fields of Ecology, Physiology, Microbiology, Disease Ecology, and Molecular Biology, investigating the microbiota-host system in degraded landscapes and its relationship with health and conservation.
