Assistant Professor of the Graduate Program in Linguistic Studies (PPGEL) and the Institute of Letters and Linguistics at the Federal University of Uberlândia (ILEEL-UFU). She conducted postdoctoral research in Applied Linguistics (LAEL/PUC-SP), investigating the development of symbolic and material repertoires in combating ageism. She holds a PhD in Linguistics (Neurolinguistics, FAPESP/IEL-UNICAMP), with a research internship at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (DDRA-Fulbright). She is the associate coordinator of interinstitutional Outreach Project "Observatório do Idadismo" (Observatory of Ageism) (UFBA-UFU), which promotes educational initiatives to raise awareness about ageism, combat prejudice, and promote health for older adults. Leader of Tessituras: language in transformation (ILEEL/UFU). Main areas of interest: discursive neurolinguistics; normal and pathological linguistic-cognitive processes; language, ag(e)ing and ageism; intergenerationality; education and life pathologization processes.
