Tony Shigueki Nakatani

Sociologist (Mtb 2095/SP), holds a bachelor's degree and a teaching license in Social Sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista/Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências, Marília Campus (UNESP/FFC - Marília), as well as a master's and a doctorate in Sociology from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). His research focuses primarily on areas related to culture and the sociology of culture: cinema, audiovisual, and public policies. Additionally, he has two specializations: one in Teaching Sociology and another in Cultural Project Management, both from lato sensu postgraduate programs at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). The first specialization was completed through the Faculty of Education under a partnership between SEE/SP and USP, and the second through the Center for Latin American Studies on Culture and Communication (CELACC) at the School of Communications and Arts, where he also worked as a researcher.
