Visiting Professor of Economic History at Federal University of ABC (UFABC) and Permanent Professor at the Postgraduate Program in World Political Economy (PPG EPM - UFABC). Has a Postdoctoral degree from UFABC (2024), a PhD in Economic History from University of São Paulo (USP, 2020), a Master degree in Economic Development at State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, 2013) and is Graduated in History at USP (2010). She was Visiting Schollar at University of California, Irvine (2017-2018). Since 2018 is Coordinating Editor of Latin American Perspectives (http://latinamericanperspectives.com/) and Associated Researcher at the Center of Studies of Latin American Agrarian History (Centro de Estudios de Historia Agraria de América Latina, CEHAL) in Chile. Works with Latin American Studies in XXth and XXIth centuries; Economic History; Education History; History Teaching; Human Rights Education; Development, Underdevelopment and Dependency Theories; Latin American Social Thought; Theory and Methodology of History; Marxisms; and Paulo Freire's pedagogy history. Was Content-Coordinator and Pedagogical Supervisor of the WebSite Memorias da Ditadura from Instituto Vladimir Herzog (http://memoriasdaditadura.org.br/ ). Has experience with historical research in many different archives in Brazil, Cuba, Chile and United States. Since 2010, has experience with university and high school teaching; works with Popular Education and educacion for the human rights. Is author of the book "Agrarian History of the Cuban Revolution. Dilemmas of the Peripheral Socialism" (Brill, 2023; Haymarket, 2024, originally in Portuguese by Alameda, 2016). Is co-author of the book 'Cuba and the economic policies of the peripheral socialism. Recent reforms in historical perspective' (Routledge, 2024). Is co-editor of the books 'Cuba no século XXI: dilemas da revolução' (2017); 'La Vía Chilena al Socialismo 50 Años Después: Historia y Memoria' (CLACSO, 2020); and 'Paulo Freire e a Educação Popular: esperançar em tempos de barbárie' (2023).
