I am a biologist with a background in environmental data analysis, focusing on coastal and oceanic systems. I earned my Masters and Ph.D. degrees from the Federal University of Paraná, where I developed tools and approaches to handle complex environmental datasets and extract meaningful insights for ecological research.Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Data Science at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo (IO-USP), where I continue to explore the use of machine learning and interactive data visualization to better understand processes shaping marine ecosystems. I have experience developing R Shiny applications such as iMESc designed to make data analysis more accessible and intuitive for environmental researchers. My work is driven by curiosity and a strong interest in uncovering hidden patterns in data. I see each dataset as an opportunity to gain new knowledge about the ocean and to support more informed decision-making in marine and coastal management. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
