Pos doctoral reasearch on Linguistic Anthropology, University of Texas - UT (2015-2016, BEPE-FAPESP), Pos doctoral reasearch on Social Anthropology, Universidade de São Paulo -USP (2014-2017, FAPESP). PhD in Social Anthropology (Ethonology, 2014, USP), master in Social Anthropology (Rural Anthropology, USP, 2006), undergraduate studies in social sciences (USP, 2003), teaching license (USP, 2009). He is a member of the Brazilian Anthropological Association (ABA) and of the Brazilian Linguistic Association (ABRALIN). He coordinates the Ethnography, Language and Ontology Research Group (ELO). He is a member of the support group to Yuhup-Hup-Dâw-Nadëb indigenous peoples. Ramos specializes in the study of shamanism, indigenous poetics, ontology and language, and indigenous health.
