Dr. Joao Daniel graduated in Veterinary Medicine from University of Lavras in 2006. He continued in education at University of Sao Paulo/ESALQ where he received a doctoral degree in Animal Science in 2011, with a sandwich period at University of Florida. Since 2015 he works as a professor at the State University of Maringa. His research has focused on the interface of silage production and ruminant nutrition. He leads projects looking to improve the recovery of silage nutrients and the feeding value of forage, grain, coproducts, and complete ration silages for dairy and beef cattle.
