Dr. Gislane de Oliveira received her Bachelor Degree (B.Sc.) in Biological Sciences from the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP). She obtained her Masters' of Sciences (M.Sc.) and her Ph.D. in Basic and Applied Immunology from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil. She worked as Head of the Immunology Chair at Barretos Medical School (FACISB). She has four Postdoctoral Fellows (2018-2023), one of them at Brigham Women's Hospital (HARVARD). She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Immunology at Sao Paulo State University (IBB/UNESP), Botucatu/SP. Professor of the Master/Ph.D. Programs in General and Applied Biology/Microbiology at UNESP, evaluating the microbiota and immune system interactions, and the relationship of dysbiosis with inflammatory diseases. She has expertise in the following fields: Cellular and molecular immunology, mucosal immunity, microbiome, and chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
