She participated in scientific initiation at the Federal University of Alfenas, focusing mainly on the following topics: validation, high-performance liquid chromatography, UV/VIS spectrophotometry, development of analytical methodologies, and quality control of pharmaceuticals and medicines. In 2009, she completed her master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a concentration in Drug Analysis and Control, at São Paulo State University (UNESP-Araraquara-SP). She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences - São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP-Araraquara-SP), with a focus in Pharmacy, having completed part of her doctorate at The University of Auckland (Auckland, New Zealand) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sanjay Garg. She works in the field of microbiological and physicochemical quality control of drugs and medicines, chemical-pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical dissolution studies, stability studies, and degradation product characterization. Her research interests include: classical and instrumental analysis techniques, modern sample preparation techniques, mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared spectrophotometry, liquid chromatography, and their applications in the analysis of drugs, degradation products, and pharmaceutical formulations. She is currently a professor in undergraduate courses at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) School of Pharmacy, teaching Physical-Chemical Quality Control of Drugs, Medicines, and Cosmetics (FARA83), Health, Drugs, and Fiction (FARB12), TCC I (FARA85), TCC II (FARA86), and TCC III (FARA87), and Biopharmacy (FARC22). She is a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Pharmacy (PPGFAR) at UFBA, working in Research Line 2 (Bioprospecting and Drug Design). She was a permanent advisor in the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PPGFARMA) at the State University of Bahia (UNEB) from 2020 to 2021, working in Research Line 2 (Evaluation of Drugs, Biomarkers, and Natural and Synthetic Products). She coordinated the project to implement the UFBA University Pharmacy (2014-2021), was vice-head of the Department of Medicines at UFBA (2019-2021), and head of the Department of Medicines at the UFBA School of Pharmacy (2021-2023).
