CENA/USP. Currently working as a Professor Doctor at CENA/USP, being responsable for the LIARE laboratory (Laboratory for Food Irradiation and Radioentomology). Performed part of the M.Sc project in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at Seibersdorf- Austria (2008), and part of the Ph.D project in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA-ARS) and the Comisión Panamá-Estados Unidos para la Erradicación y Prevención del Gusano Barredor del Ganado (COPEG) at Panamá (2011). Speaks three languages. Has experience in biological control of insect pests, food defense, food irradiation, and the application of nuclear techniques in agriculture and livestock.
