Gladis Maria de Barcellos Almeida is Linguist and Professor of the Department of Linguistics of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), São Carlos (SP, Brazil), since 1998. She is leader of the group Studies and Research in Terminology (GETerm/UFSCar) and integrates the Interinstitutional Center for Research and Development in Computational Linguistics (NILC/ICMC-USP).
