Lives and works in Lisbon (Portugal). Master in Visual Arts (2012) by the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo, Maura graduated in 2009 as a major in painting in the same institution when she started to work with photography. Among her main artistic projects are the Independent Study Program of Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo - PIMASP coordinated by Adriano Pedrosa and Tobi Maier (Brazil, 2016/2017); the residency PIVÔ Research program (Brazil, 2017); 6th edition of the Pampulha Grant Program (Belo Horizonte, Brazil, 2016).; 11th Red Bull Station Artistic Residency (Brazil, 2015); artistic residency at Center of Art and Technology JACA, Belo Horizonte (Brazil, 2014); the exhibition A vanguarda está em ti in the ocassion of 55th year of the Círculo de Artes Plásticas de Coimbra (Portugal, 2014); artistic residency at École Superieure de Beaux Arts, Tours, (France, 2013); I Mostra do Programa de Fotografia 2012/2013 in the Centro Cultural São Paulo (Brazil, 2012); exhibition Corners at Museum of Contemporary Art of São Paulo (Brazil, 2012).
