Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2001), master's (2003) and doctorate (2008) in Neurosciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina with an emphasis on Cell Biology (glioma, extracellular matrix, astrocytes, neurons and thyroid hormone ) and post-doctorate (2008-2009) at the Experimental Oncology Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine / University of São Paulo, working in the area of #8203;#8203;oncology (melanoma), with an emphasis on Cellular and Molecular Biology. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Cell Biology, Embryology and Genetics at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, working with cell biology of human glioblastoma multiforme and alternative treatments.
