Graduation in Medicine (1991) at University of Campinas, Brazil, Medical Residency in Hematology and Hemotherapy at the University of Campinas (1992-1995), and PhD in Clinical Medicine at University of Campinas (2002). She completed additional training at the University of Pennsylvania (1999) (split fellowship) and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (2012). She is currently a hematologist and researcher at the Hematology and Hemotherapy at the University of Campinas, working in clinical care in the Onco-Hematology area and as supervisor of the Laboratory of Molecular Analysis in Onco-Hematology.
