Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e de Computação (ICMC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

She holds a bachelor's and a teaching degree in Mathematics from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, as well as a master's, PhD, and postdoctoral degree from the University of São Paulo (USP), in addition to a research period at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. She is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (ICMC) of USP, where she leads the research group on Differential Equations, Dynamical Systems, and Non-Absolute Integration. Her research focuses on Non-Absolute Integration, with sophisticated applications to Generalized Ordinary and Stochastic Differential Equations a field that connects deep mathematical theory to modern and interdisciplinary problems.Throughout her career, she has supervised 14 doctoral theses, 9 master's dissertations, 35 undergraduate research projects, and 4 postdoctoral fellows. She has a passion for mentoring challenging undergraduate research projects. Notably, she has been involved in training Aeronautical Engineering students, guiding projects focused on the mathematical modeling of flight dynamics for various types of drones, including hexacopters, monocopters, squirrel-type drones, and others. She serves on the editorial board of the journal Differential Equations and Applications and plays an active role in academic-administrative activities: she has served as coordinator of the Graduate Program in Mathematics, head and deputy head of the Department of Mathematics, and coordinator of the Mathematics Bachelors Program at ICMC-USP. She is currently the Vice-President for Graduate Affairs of the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM), a member of the ENAMA Council (National Meeting on Analysis and Mathematical Applications), and of the Scientific Council of the Foundation for the Advancement of Physics and Chemistry (FAFQ). Her work stands out for both its academic impact H-index of 15 in SCOPUS and ISI and her commitment to student development, pedagogical innovation, and institutional initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching quality and student retention.
