Graduated in Physics, with a Bachelors degree (2004-2007) and Teaching degree (2008-2011), both at the university of São Paulo. Master and Doctoral Thesis in Physics Education at the Posgraduate Program Interunities on Science Teaching of the University of São Paulo. Nowadays he teaches at the Universidade Federal de Lavras, where teaches in the Physics Teaching ungergraduate degree and Graduate Program of Science and Mathematics Education. Was coordinator of the Phsycis area in the programs PIBID and Residência Pedagógica. His main research interests are the use of history and philosophy of science in science education, particularly history, philosophy and sociology of science in physics education, teaching cosmology and contemporary and modern physics and history of cosmology in the 20th century and nature of science. Acts currently as a member of the Group "Scientific and epistemic Prátices in Teaching and Learning Situations (PraCESE) at Universidade Federal de Lavras, and in the Group of Theory and History of Knowledge (TeHCO), whose lider is professor Ivã Gurgel, at USP.
