Graduated in Physics from the University of Campinas (2004), holds a Master's degree (2008) and a Ph.D. (2011) in Applied Mathematics from the same institution, and obtained the title of Associate Professor (Livre-Docente) in Mathematical Physics in 2020. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the University of Campinas. He has expertise in Mathematical Physics, with an emphasis on General Relativity. In this project, the applicant will study quantum field theory in curved spaces through the concept of quantum singularities. It is well known that in globally-hyperbolic spacetimes the evolution of quantum fields is uniquely determined by the initial conditions on a Cauchy hypersurface.
