Biologist graduated in University of São Paulo (Licectiate and Bachelor's degree), Master's degree in Botany Department of Biosciences Institute of USP. As his main interests are Physiology and Ecophysiology of superior plants. Studies plant morphological and biochemical adaption to abiotic stress survival. Participated in research projects related to global climate changes, as well as investigated the crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM) in epiphyte species. Currently, he aims to investigate how a human-disturbance gradient may affect leaf venation traits and its possible physiological effects on plant productivity and water relations in tree species of the Atlantic Forest.
