Daniel Fassa Evangelista

Graduated in Journalism at the University of São Paulo (USP), I hold a PhD degree in social sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). I developed part of my PhD research at the University of Bordeaux (France), granted by a scholarship from Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). Before the PhD, I obtained a Master's degree in political philosophy at the Sophia University Institute (Florence, Italy) and a Master's degree in Social Sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). I work as a lecturer in the Social Communication course at the Salesian Faculty of Macaé (Rio de Janeiro) and as the director of communication at the Instituto Agir Ambiental. I have more than ten years of experience as a journalist. I have also been working with academic and communication consultancy to civil society organizations, public institutions and rights councils.
