Currently, Adjunct professor at the Federal University of Itajubá, UNIFEI. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from IFT-UNESP São Paulo State University (2012), a Master's degree in Physics from IFT-UNESP São Paulo State University (2008), and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidad del Valle (2006), Colombia. He has experience in the field of Physics, with emphasis on General Theory of Particles and Fields, and Mathematical Methods of Physics. He works mainly in the following areas: Integrable Systems, Classical and Quantum Integrability in Field Theories, Supersymmetry, Conformal Symmetry and Infinite-Dimensional Algebras, Defects and Boundaries in Integrable Field Theories, Topological Solitons, Spinors, and Clifford Algebras. The candidate will start studing soliton and rational solutions for the Thirring model with defects with the aim to formulate within the integrable formulation. This structure will be then compared with the sine-Gordon model with defects.
