André Luiz Monezi Andrade

As a seasoned psychologist specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy, I hold a tenured position in the graduate programs in psychology and LIMIAR (Languages, Media, and Art) at PUC-Campinas. My academic journey includes postdoctoral studies at PUC-Campinas and UNIFESP in 2017 and 2018. My professional endeavors primarily focus on the essential psychological assessment, prevention, and intervention processes. I am especially attuned to impulse disorders, spanning issues from problematic drugs to digital media use. One of my core interests is the development of innovative psychometric measures for the accurate assessment of these constructs. Within the realm of scientific cooperation, I have had the opportunity to collaborate on projects with a diverse range of researchers from universities worldwide. My international collaborations include a pivotal role within the Substance Abuse Department of the World Health Organization's (WHO) eHealth Project on Alcohol and Health Investigators Group, where I partner with esteemed researchers from Switzerland, India, Mexico, and Belarus. Furthermore, I actively participate in the Drugs and Society Working Group of ANPEPP (GT 17).
