Occupational therapist, lecturer, and researcher with a professional trajectory focused on mental health, psychosocial rehabilitation, and care in contexts of social vulnerability. Holds a postdoctoral degree from the Department of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto University of São Paulo (USP) (2023), a Ph.D. (2017), and a Masters degree (2011) in Sciences from the Psychiatric Nursing and Human Sciences Graduate Program at the School of Nursing of Ribeirão Preto EERP/USP. Completed a specialization in Occupational Therapy and Psychiatric Liaison at the Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto USP (2007), and obtained a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the Claretian University Center of Batatais/SP (2005).Holds practical and academic experience across various institutions and regions: worked as an occupational therapist in mental health and rehabilitation services in the cities of Santa Gertrudes, Cordeirópolis, Limeira, and Piracicaba/SP, including roles in Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS), APAE (Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional), and civil society organizations. Served as a field supervisor in mental health, geriatrics, and gerontology in the Occupational Therapy undergraduate program at the Claretian University Center (20072008), and was a substitute lecturer at the Federal University of São Carlos UFSCar (2016).In the international academic field, he was part of the Instituto de Aparato Locomotor y Rehabilitación of the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Austral de Chile (20182021). Since 2021, he has been a faculty member of the Department of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science at the Universidad de Chile, contributing to the critical training of occupational therapists and to the development of research focused on human rights, everyday life, and mental health.His main areas of expertise include health care, mental health, psychosocial rehabilitation, substance use, group and body-based approaches, people and collectives in situations of social vulnerability. In recent years, he has been strongly dedicated to studies on everyday life, with a particular emphasis on the philosophical perspective of Agnes Heller. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
