Professor at UFABC, working with distance education programs (through the university's Educational Center for Technologies and Languages) and as a professor at the programs of Public Policies and Sciences and Humanities. Formerly a professional editor, took part in the editing of, among others: the Final Report of Brazil's Truth Commission; the award-winning series of books by Elio Gaspari on Brazil's 1964 dictatorship; and of several titles selected in PNLD, the national program for acquisition of textbooks in Brazil. Main research interests: theories and practices of commons / commoning, commodification, intellectual property, philosophy and sociology of science, educational technology, open educational resources, free software.
