Full Professor at the Institute of Chemistry at UNICAMP and Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1996, Master's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 1998 and PhD in Chemistry from UNICAMP in 2001 under the guidance of Prof. Marco-Aurelio De Paoli. He completed a "Sandwich" internship during his PhD at Imperial College in London under the supervision of Prof. James R. Durrant. After completing his PhD, he also completed a year of post-doctoral work at Imperial College in the same research group. In 2003, he completed another post-doctorate at USP under the supervision of Prof. Henrique Toma. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Chemistry, with an emphasis on the application of nanomaterials for the conversion of solar energy, working mainly on the following topics: light emitting diodes (LED); green hydrogen generation; emerging solar cells (in particular perovskite solar cells). In 2017, he completed a sabbatical at SLAC-Stanford in the area of #8203;#8203;application of synchrotron light in the characterization of materials for energy conversion. In 2020, she received the ACS-SBQ Women in Academia award. Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry where she serves as associate editor.
