I am an Environmental Biotechnologist, by the Federal University of São Carlos, and have a MSc in Tropical Agriculture (Agroenvironmental Management) (from IAC-Brazil), with a PhD in Agriculture by the University of Reading - UK. I have worked in the field of plant ecology, allelopathy and restoration of degraded areas. I currently work phytoremediation and restoration of contaminated soils. rehabilitation of post-mining sites, ecotoxicology, plant nutrition, soil microbiology and gene expression, focused on the effects of metals in different species and the influence of mycorrhizal fungi.
