Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de Tupã. Faculdade de Ciências e Engenharia  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I received my B.Sc. degree in Computer Information Systems and my M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Sao Paulo in 2009 and 2011, respectively, where I also received my Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2015. For almost 6 years I worked in different companies as a System Analyst and Programmer, and I won 1st place in the X Competition of Thesis and Dissertations in Artificial and Computational Intelligence at the 5th Brazilian Conference on Intelligent System in 2016. I joined Dell Technologies in 2022 and, since then, I have been developing different studies and projects based on cutting-edge AI/ML techniques. Previously, I have been with the School of Sciences and Engineering (FCE) of the São Paulo State University (UNESP/Tupã), where I was an Assistant Professor. I have published in prestigious journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Elsevier Information Sciences, ACM Computing Surveys, Elsevier Neurocomputing. My main interests are Data Mining (Data Science, Predictive Analytics, and Big Data), Machine Learning (ML) - e.g., Semi-supervised Learning, Ensembles, Classification, and Clustering -, and Bioinspired Computing (such as shallow and deep Artificial Neural Networks MLPs, CNNs, Autoencoders, GANs, etc.). I have applied ML to Industry/Agriculture 4.0/5.0. I was a member of H.IAAC (Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Architectures Hub) working on the line of learning in Cognitive Architectures.
