Shirley Famelli da Costa

Biologial Science Bachelor degree from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2005), Master's in Applied Ecology (2009) and PhD in Forest Resources / Conservation of Ecosystems (2013) from Universidade de São Paulo. Worked as a researcher fellow at the Amazonian Turtles Conservation and Management Program, at Mamirauá Institute for Sustainable Development. Currently is a researcher assistant at Centre for Remote Sensing, Geosptial Science Department, RMIT University, Mebourne, Australia. Experience in Ecology, focusing on Ecosystems Ecology, acting on the following subjects: Turtles, Chelidae, Podocnemididae, Atlantic Rain Forest, Amazon, reproductive biology, movements, telemetry, climate change, land cover change, charismatic species (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
