Adjunct Professor IV at the Department of Geography of the University of Brasilia (UnB) and currently holds the position of Director of Promotion of Scientific Initiation at UnB. He holds a degree in Geography (BA and BSc) from the State University of Ceará, a master's degree in Geography from the State University of Ceará and a PhD in Geography from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Presidente Prudente Campus. He completed a post-doctoral internship at the Institute of Social Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands) under the CAPES/NUFFIC International Cooperation Program. He has experience in Geography with an emphasis on Economic Geography, Urban Geography and Rural Geography, working mainly on the following topics: urban economy, food trade and consumption; the role of self-service retail capital; urban food governance; agri-food systems; and global production networks. He is the coordinator of the GeoRedes Laboratory at UnB and leader of the CNPq Research Group Governance, Agrifood Systems and Global Production Networks - GovernAGRO. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
