Marcia Ribeiro

Education: Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1999), with a Master's degree (2003) and PhD (2009) from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo.Experience: Specialist in optical and structural properties of condensed matter, with a focus on the production of semiconductor and conductive thin films using PECVD, RF Magnetron Sputtering, and Reactive Evaporation. Skilled in the characterization of semiconductors using techniques such as Photoluminescence, UV-Vis Absorption, Raman Spectroscopy, X-ray Absorption using Synchrotron Light, High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (LNLS-Campinas/Brazil), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (USP-SP/Brazil). Experienced in guidance and supervising laboratory activities for undergraduate and graduate students at the Polytechnic School and the Institute of Physics of USP.Current Role: Serving as a staff member at the Federal University of São Paulo since October 2018.
