Eduardo Name Risk

Federal Public Servant and Associate Professor (Level 2) at the Department of Psychology, Center for Education and Human Sciences (CECH) of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) since 2019. He is a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Psychology at UFSCar (CAPES Grade 6), where he has been accredited for Masters and Doctoral supervision since 2022 within the research line "Subjective Dimensions of Cognition and Behavior." Currently, he is a member of Working Group 40 (Psychoanalysis and Expanded Clinic) of the National Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Psychology (ANPEPP).In his research activities, he serves as the leader of the GEEPCSS (Study, Extension, and Research Group on Clinic, Subjectivity, and Society) and is a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for the Study of the Human Psyche (LIEPH), both linked to UFSCar and registered with the CNPq. Furthermore, he is a senior researcher at LEPPS (USP), and a member of the research groups POÁ (UFRB) and Mediação (UFCat), the latter focusing on Digital Sociology.His editorial and management experience is extensive, having served as the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Psychology Course at UFSCar (20232024) and as a representative on the Human Research Ethics Committee (20202022). He currently coordinates the extension program "Ethics, Publishing, and Scientific Writing in Human Sciences." He is an Associate Editor for the journals Cadernos de Psicologia (SBP) and Interação em Psicologia (UFPR), following a long tenure at the journal Paidéia (USP), where he served in various roles including Associate Editor (20202022).He holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology (2007), a Masters degree in Psychology (2012), and a PhD in Psychology (2018), all from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (FFCLRP-USP). He also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the same institution (20182020). His primary research interests and areas of expertise include digital sociability and subjectivation, psychoanalysis, gender relations and sexuality, family and generational dynamics, and scientific ethics and publishing.
