He holds a degree in Automatique et Electronique Industrielle from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (1968), a master's degree from Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier (1971) and a doctorate in Sciences from Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier (1977). He is currently retired as a Senior Researcher at the National Institute for Space Research. He has experience in the area of Computer Science, with an emphasis on Computing Systems.
