Holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Uberaba - UNIUBE (2004).Founder and coordinator of Grupo Materna, an association of women that promotes social actions and public policies to support pregnant individuals in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability in Salvador, Brazil. Founder and CEO of the Brazilian Institute of Maternal Mental Health (IbraMater), dedicated to training and supervising professionals in the field of mental health and perinatal care, as well as conducting research on risk and protective factors related to maternal-infant mental health and the challenges faced by contemporary women.Currently works as a clinical psychologist, providing individual therapy for women, older adults, and families. Lecturer and coordinator of the Training Program in Psychopathology and Maternal Mental Health and the undergraduate Psychology program at the Catholic University of Salvador.Coordinator of the Perinatal Mental Health Forum at ENSP-FIOCRUZ and a national board member of the Maio Furta-Cor Campaign, an initiative for women's mental health awareness.
