Adriana holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from McMaster University, Canada (2017), a M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from University of Sao Paulo (2012), and a Licentiate degree in Chemistry from Federal University of Sao Carlos (2012). Currently, she is a professor of analytical Chemistry at Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, which was assumed after doing a postdoctoral research in metabolomics at University of Sao Paulo (2017 - 2018). Adriana has experience in metabolomics, as well as in the development, validation, and application of analytical methods based on separation sciences and mass spectrometry in environmental, clinical, and food studies.
