Suely Carlos Ferreira Sampaio

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Gama Filho (2000), a Master's Degree in Clinical Bacteriology from the State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ (2004) and a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP (2008). She developed part of her PhD project at the Pasteur Institute in Paris-France. The post-doctorate was carried out in the Department of Microbiology / Immunology and Parasitology at the Federal University of São Paulo - Escola Paulista de Medicina (UNIFESP-EPM). She has experience in Microbiology, with emphasis in Medical Microbiology, working mainly on the following topics: bacterial pathogenicity, interaction with eukaryotic cells and antimicrobial resistance. Currently, she is a propfessor of Microbiology at the School of Medicine of Santa Casa de São Paulo. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
