I am a highly-skilled physics doctor with over seventeen years of experience as a specialized researcher in photonics, glasses, laser, optical fiber, optical spectroscopy (14 years), and test setups optical fiber systems, superconductivity (4 years), and plasmonic/nanophononics (12 years). I have also worked in management (governmental - 4 years, academic - 1 year), and as a university titular professor (4 years).I have authored over 85 scientific articles in international journals, 7 book chapters, and 2 books published by Springer. I have also edited books for both Springer and Elsevier. To date, I have advised and co-advised 3 and 7 students, respectively, across bachelors, masters, and doctoral programs. I am an active reviewer for more than 14 scientific journals and have evaluated research projects for funding agencies such as FONDECYT, INNOVATE, UNTELS, UNSA, UNI, FAPESP, and CAPES, among others.
