Master's degree (2007) and PhD (2010) in Mechanical Engineering, area of #8203;#8203;Transmission and Energy Conversion from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, UNESP - BRAZIL. CNPq DTI 2 Fellow (2007 - 2009), FAPESP Post-Doctoral Fellow (2010 - 2011). Currently Associate Professor 3 at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Itajubá - MG (UNIFEI). Researcher at CNPq DT 2 (2013 - 2015), PQ 2 (2017 - 2019), PQ 1D (2020 - 2024) and PQ 1C (2024 - 2028). He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on Energy Utilization and Biofuels, working mainly on the following topics: Study of 2nd generation Biofuels, Energy and Thermoeconomic Analysis of Thermal Systems, Combustion, Emissions and Flammability of Biofuels in the Aeronautical Industry, Combustion and Atomization of pyrolytic oil from used tires, Use of HVO, Farnesan, Biodiesel, Biogas, H2 in Diesel Vehicles and Biomass Gasification. Actively participates in presenting works at National and International Congresses, as well as publishing in the annals of National and International congresses and in International Scientific Journals.
